Mexico is preparing to celebrate the 200 anniversary majestically Start your Independence and 100 of the start of his revolution. All events and works prepared in order to commemorate these dates are designed bound by a renewal of identity and historic continuity Mexico.
This great celebration highlights examples of pre-Hispanic Mexican art, colonial, modern and contemporary in major world capitals, historical routes, shows, exhibitions, publications, conferences, seminars, open 10 archaeological sites, maintenance of pre-Hispanic sites in the country and the remodeling of 30 museums that will be the stage actors of the Bicentennial of Independence and Centennial of the Mexican Revolution in 2010.
This work involves a complex museum and the consolidation of historic buildings in six states to commemorate Independence and eight states for the Revolution, for which it has invested 300 million pesos.
The headquarters of the commemoration were chosen taking into account their accessibility, these land routes trace the main paths taken by those who fought the battles that led to the Independence and the Revolution. For this great celebration, these paths are collectively called "Road 2010". To this end, the Ministry of Communications and Transport will allocate their resources to signal these routes and provide tourist information in printed form at strategic points in the roads and through its website.
